About the Finish the Race 5k and Fun Run
The course winds through Ruby Grant Park on a mix of grass, sidewalk, and gravel. It is mostly flat with a handful of gentle rolls, the kind of surface a local high school cross-country team would recognize. The park is well-maintained, and the trail feels open rather than technical.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a nearby church. On race day, parking is on the west side of the park, close to the restrooms in the main lot. The start area draws families, with a kids dash before the main race gets underway.
