About the 37th Annual Fifth Third Bank Turkey Day 5K
The course runs through downtown Evansville on Thanksgiving morning, so the streets have that particular holiday quiet to them. It draws families alongside faster runners, and the route stays in the heart of the city, starting and finishing in the same downtown spot.
Packet pickup runs at the Goodwill headquarters on Washington Avenue for several days before the race, which takes the morning-of scramble out of the equation. Parking is available in nearby lots and garages downtown, though a few of the closer garages may be blocked depending on the route.
