About the Father's Day Run & Walk
The race runs through Audubon Park on the park's dedicated running and walking path. It's a Father's Day tradition named for Richard Newcomb, and the route is flat and shaded, the kind of path locals already use on weekend mornings. Fathers, grandfathers, and kids can enter together as a team and compete for group awards, which draws a lot of multigenerational pairs to the start line.
Registration and packet pickup open race morning under a shelter near the Newman Bandshell inside the park. A friend or family member can pick up your packet for you as long as they have your information. After the race, there is music, food, and refreshments on site.

The Father's Day Run & Walk has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
