About the 12th Annual EWC 5K Race & Kids Fun Run
The course starts at a high school, picks up a trail system through the area, and finishes at a wrestling center. The route has a point-to-point feel, moving through off-road trail before returning to the finish. It is a fundraiser for a local youth wrestling program, so the crowd at the finish skews toward wrestling families.
After the main race, there is a kids obstacle course that winds around the wrestling center. The post-race gathering includes hot chocolate and popcorn. Packet pickup and the start area are both tied to the high school grounds.
