About the CHRISTmas Ugly Sweater 5K
This is an ugly sweater race held by a local church ministry, so the costume element is baked in, not just encouraged. The course is a chip-timed road route, and after you finish there is hot chocolate and cookies at the line. A photo booth is set up nearby, and sweater contests with gift card prizes run after the race.
Packet pickup is the evening before at Trinity Lutheran School, with a separate entrance from the main church doors. Race-morning pickup opens before the start at Trinity Lutheran Church. The event goes on rain or shine, and there is a virtual option for anyone who cannot make it in person.
