About the Edwardsville Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run!
The course runs through the campus of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, so the surroundings are open and campus-green rather than street-and-storefront. It is a Thanksgiving morning race, which means the crowd skews toward families and out-of-town visitors folded into the holiday, and there is a kids fun run alongside the main event.
