About the Eternal Surrender Half Marathon
The Eternal Surrender Half Marathon is built around faith as much as fitness. Runners and walkers are invited to treat the miles as a shared testimony, connecting with others on the trail who are on a similar spiritual journey. The course runs along the lake, and the atmosphere leans toward reflection over racing.
It is a self-supported event, so come prepared. Light refreshments are out on the course, and the post-race gathering by the lake includes food, music, and non-alcoholic drinks. Bringing a lawn chair is encouraged, and the afterparty is meant to stretch out well past the finish.
