About the Run for the Angels Memorial Run and Family Day
The course follows the Centennial Trail along the Spokane River, with memorial signs lining the route, each placed for a child being honored that day. It is a road run through a park setting, flat and open, with strollers and bicycles welcome alongside runners and walkers.
The day begins well before the run, with sponsor booths, a memory-making station where you can paint a rock or create a luminary, and a silent auction. A remembrance ceremony at the park amphitheater reads aloud the names of honored children. Packet pickup is at the park on race day.
