About the El Tour de Tucson 5K

The course runs through the historic Barrio Viejo and Armory Park neighborhoods on closed downtown streets, returning to El Parque de San Cosme near the Convention Center. The pavement is flat and fast, though typical urban road texture means the occasional speed bump or pothole. Strollers and chair athletes are welcome on the course.

Packet pickup happens at the Tucson Convention Center during the multi-day El Tour Expo and Fiesta, which also features food trucks, a beer garden, and live entertainment. Race-morning pickup is available at the Convention Center before the start. After finishing, bananas, oranges, and music await at the finish area, and the expo continues through the afternoon.
