About the Egg Nog Jog
The course starts at the corner of Jerome and St. Gregory in Mt. Adams and works its way through the neighborhood and into Eden Park. It is hilly, no question about it, with the terrain giving you views over the city that make the climbing feel worth it. Expect to work on the way up and enjoy the descent.
This one runs rain or shine, so dress for whatever the morning brings. The Mt. Adams start area sits in a walkable neighborhood, so arriving early to find your footing makes sense. The holiday timing gives the morning a certain energy that a midsummer race just does not have.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Egg Nog Jog has been held every year since at least 2014. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
