About the Education Foundation Ringling Bridge Run
The course goes over the Ringling Bridge, which gives you a real climb out over the water and a view of Sarasota Bay in both directions. The bridge is closed to traffic on one side while the race is on, so the crossing feels open. Several distance options mean the bridge sees a steady stream of people at different paces through the morning.
Packet pickup runs across several days before the race at a few different spots around Sarasota, including a running store and a car dealership. Packets are not available on race morning, so picking up early is essential. Parking is at the Van Wezel Performing Arts venue on Tamiami Trail, and the race starts at The Bay, just off the water.
