About the Eddie Ferrell St. Patrick's Music City Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
The courses start and finish at Shelby Park, where the Shelby Bottoms Greenway meets the Cumberland River. Terrain is flat throughout, with a loop around Sevier Lake and a stretch along the river on the greenway. The half marathon adds a swing around a small airpark east of the park. Runners tend to show up in green, and the St. Patrick's Day atmosphere carries through the whole morning.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet in Brentwood, with another window on race morning at the Riverview Pavilion inside Shelby Park. All distances start together, with faster runners going out first. A post-race beer garden and live music run through midday at the finish.
