About the Dormont Dash
The course winds through the residential streets of a South Hills neighborhood, starting and finishing at a public pool and park. The hills are real and they come at you; this is not a flat course, and most runners feel it in their legs by the end. The surrounding streets are quiet and neighborhood-scale, which gives the whole thing an unhurried, local feel.
Packet pickup is available ahead of race day at the pool lobby, and the organizers encourage grabbing your bib early to avoid the morning rush. Same-day pickup is an option, but arriving well before the start is the move if that is your plan.
