About the Tutu 2.2 Miler
The course runs out from Millvale Riverfront Park along the Riverfront Trail, then turns around and comes straight back. It is a road surface on a flat trail, so there is nothing technical underfoot and no real climbing. The race has a gimmick that actually works: every participant runs in a tutu, which makes the whole thing feel more like a costume party than a typical weeknight road race.
Parking is at Helicon Brewing and spills over into a second lot across the street. The brewery is also the backdrop for the finish, where there is craft beer on tap for those old enough to drink. Stick around after you finish.
