About the Doodle Trail 5k and 15k

The course splits its character neatly in two: the first stretch runs along the road, then the route drops onto the Doodle Trail for the back portion, finishing at the Trailhead Park in Pickens. The terrain is rolling rather than flat, so expect some give and take in elevation throughout. The longer distance starts in Easley, in front of the police department, and follows the trail into town.

The shorter distance has race-morning packet pickup at the Trailhead Park in Pickens. The longer distance picks up at the starting line in Easley only, so plan accordingly and do not count on grabbing a bib in Pickens if you are running the longer route. This race closes out the Pickens County 5k Race Series, and series awards are handed out at the finish.
