About the Dog Daze 5K
The course starts and finishes at Olde Woodlands Park and winds through nearby neighborhoods. The terrain is flat and the route has a reputation for fast times. Dogs run too, on leash, and the race even has awards for the top canine finishers. It benefits a local nonprofit focused on pet spay, neuter, and microchipping.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Craft & Draft on Devine Street, a dog-friendly spot where a food truck will be on site and a portion of the bar's sales goes to the benefiting nonprofit. Race-morning pickup opens well before the start at the park itself.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Dog Daze 5K has been held every year since at least 2026. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
