About the Dirty Dog Trail 4 Miler

The course runs through Veterans Park in Lexington, following hard-packed dirt trails along East Hickman Creek. Expect open grassy stretches, a dry rocky creek crossing, and the kind of footing that earns the name. The race benefits the Hickman Creek Conservancy, so the surroundings you are running through are exactly what the entry fee supports.

Packet pickup is race morning at the park, wrapping up before the start. A photographer covers the course, and photos go out to runners by email afterward.
