About the DENFIT Jingle Bell 5k
The course makes one big loop through the village streets of Cape Vincent, passing storefronts and neighbors along the way. It is not timed, so the pace is whatever you want it to be. Runners who show up in ugly holiday sweaters go into a raffle for gift certificates to local shops, and everyone gets a small jingle bell to attach to a wrist, ankle, or shoe.
After the run, hot chocolate and coffee are set up at the finish, and the local shops stay open for browsing. Later that same day, the Cape Vincent Christmas Parade runs through town, so there is a reason to hang around after you cross the finish line.
