About the Dash Away Jr.
This is a kids' race built around a holiday theme. The course is a single loop through the Fairgrounds, with clear signage along the way, and it goes off before the accompanying adult race so the younger runners have plenty of daylight. Festive attire is encouraged, and the whole thing is untimed, so the focus is on the experience rather than the clock.
Registration opens at the Fairgrounds in the late afternoon before the race, giving families time to pick up their bibs and get the kids settled before the start shortly after.
