About the DANCING LIGHTS 5K FUN RUN
This one runs after dark through a holiday light display, with millions of lights synced to music along the way. The course is mostly gravel, so expect uneven ground underfoot. It is untimed, with only a rolling clock at the finish. The route ends at a village area where hot chocolate and snacks are waiting.
Packet pickup runs for nearly a week before the event at a Fleet Feet location in Mt. Juliet, and there is no race-day pickup, so plan ahead. Parking is at the Wilson County Fairgrounds, with one specific entrance on Peyton Road. Arrive early, the organizers are upfront that traffic backs up before the start.
