About the CCRC Turkey Trot 5k
The course starts at the main pavilion in Don Fox Park, follows the park loop, and continues out along the Cedar City Greenway to an old train station before turning back. The surface is paved trail, the terrain is gentle, and the surroundings are park greenery most of the way. It is an unsanctioned event, so the atmosphere is informal.
Registration fees go entirely to a children's charity, with no portion kept by the organizing club. Parking is straightforward: the main lot near the pavilion puts you right at the start. Cash and check donations can be brought on the day if you want to give beyond the entry fee.
