About the ConnectAbility's Noon New Year's Eve 5k
The course runs through Yahoola Creek Park near downtown Dahlonega, a flat two-lap circuit that makes it easy to find your pace early. Strollers, wheelchairs, and dogs are welcome, and there is a separate fun run for kids. The race doubles as a noon countdown, so the start itself has a little New Year's Eve energy built in.
A sparkling apple cider toast wraps up the morning at the finish. The race benefits ConnectAbility, a local nonprofit focused on inclusion for people of all abilities, so the entry fee goes somewhere specific.
