About the Run to Remember 5K Road Race & Walk
The course starts at Fort Trumbull State Park and heads out along Pequot Ave beside the Thames River, turning around and coming back the same way. It is a flat route with water views for most of the run, and the out-and-back shape means you can see other runners heading the opposite direction throughout.
There is a kids fun run earlier in the morning before the main race goes off. Awards cover a broad spread of age groups, and refreshments are set up at the finish. Race-day check-in is available, so you do not have to sort everything out beforehand.
