About the Coach Mike O'Brien Memorial 5K St. Patrick's Day Run
The course is USATF-certified and starts on the Morris Catholic High School campus. It is a St. Patrick's Day-themed race held in memory of a coach who spent his career at the school coaching cross-country and track, and who started the original version of this run. Age-group awards are part of the race, and the proceeds support school scholarships and a local public assistance fund.
Bib pickup is inside the school cafeteria, near the soccer field at the back of campus, and opens well before the start. Parking is on campus, with overflow available on nearby streets; signs guide you in. Chip timing is used for results.

The Coach Mike O'Brien Memorial 5K St. Patrick's Day Run has been held every year since at least 2015. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
