The course loops through Morristown, and the race is put on by a nonprofit focused on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a heart condition that affects many families. That mission is woven into the morning. Supporters can dedicate thank-you signs along the route to loved ones living with the disease, so the course itself carries some personal weight.
Early packet pickup is the day before at the Hyatt Regency in Morristown. Race-morning pickup opens well before the start at the Ford Road location in Denville, where parking is also available in the surrounding business complex.
