About the Clare Dairy Phil Ice Cream 5K
The course starts and finishes near Clare High School and winds through city streets. It is a road race, point to point on pavement, so expect a typical neighborhood route rather than trails or a track. Proceeds support the school's cross-country and track programs, which gives the whole thing a local, school-community feel.
Packet pickup happens the evening of the race at the high school, before the start. Changing facilities are available there as well. Strollers are welcome but are asked to line up toward the back. After you finish, Dairy Phil ice cream is waiting at the finish area.
