About the Clare Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk 2026
The course starts at the Emerald Isle Recreation Complex, winds through the complex's trail, and then heads out along Dunlop Street before looping back. It is a short, accessible route with a mix of trail and road surfaces. A costume contest runs just before the start, with prizes paid out in local currency redeemable at shops around Clare.
Registration opens at the complex on race morning, so there is no need to pick up a packet the night before. Stick around after the run, because winners in both the race divisions and the costume contest are announced later in the morning. Trophies go to the fastest overall finishers, and the best group costume takes home a cash prize of its own.
