About the Clare Irish Festival Road Race
The race starts and finishes in front of Clare High School, part of the city's long-running Irish Festival weekend. Several distance options go out through the surrounding streets, and chip timing covers both the start and finish line. Changing facilities are available inside the school, so you are not stuck in a cold parking lot after a winter morning race.
Packet pickup runs the evening before in the high school cafeteria, with race-morning registration also available. After you finish, a pancake breakfast is served in the cafeteria, and extra tickets can be purchased at the door for anyone who came to cheer you on.
