About the Cincinnati Cyclones Frozen 5k/10k
The course runs along the Ohio River and dips through Cincinnati's transit center beneath Second Street, which gives it a character you don't find in most road races. It's an out-and-back through downtown infrastructure, open sky one moment and concrete tunnel the next. The winter timing means cold is part of the deal, but the river stretch has good width and the underground section is genuinely memorable.
Packet pickup runs the two days before the race at Tri-State Running Company locations around the area, with race-morning pickup available at Heritage Bank Center. The start line is a short walk from there. Hot chocolate is at the finish.
