About the Christmas Glow Run
This is an evening run held after dark, so the course is lit up with Christmas lights and runners come dressed in glowing costumes. It is untimed, which shapes the whole atmosphere: people walk, jog, and stop for photos. The route is more a moving holiday display than a race.
Glow gear gets handed out at check-in before the start. Afterward, there is coffee, cocoa, and snacks at the finish, along with music and games. A costume contest runs alongside the usual top-finisher awards, so the most elaborately decorated runner has as good a shot at a prize as the fastest one.
