The course runs through Memorial Park, one of Houston's largest urban green spaces, on paths that stay flat and paved the whole way. This is an after-work race, so the field is mostly company teams showing up together, which gives the whole evening a different feel than a weekend road race. The park setting means you are running among trees rather than downtown traffic.
