About the Cheers to New Years 5K (Indianapolis)

The course is flat and runs along the Monon Trail, which keeps things simple and fast. The route has no water stops, so bring your own if you need it. The crowd tends to be a mix of people chasing a fast start to their year and people just happy to be out running on New Year's Day.

Packet pickup is race morning only, outside Big Lug Canteen on Eighty-Sixth Street. Parking is spread across a few nearby lots on both sides of the Monon, including spaces at a Total Wine and a Whole Foods, so you have options depending on which side you come from.
