About the Chase the Glow
The course follows paved streets through Estes Park's holiday light displays, finishing in Bond Park where a Christmas village is set up around the finish area. The whole thing runs right after the town's tree lighting ceremony, so the lights are on and the crowd is already out when runners start.
Hot chocolate and locally made cookies are at the finish, which makes lingering after you cross easy to justify. The Bond Park finish puts you in the middle of the village, so there is plenty to take in while you warm up.
