About the Bigfoot Half Marathon
The half marathon starts at an events complex on the edge of town and winds down into downtown Estes Park, finishing in Bond Park right in the middle of the Bigfoot Days Festival. There is live music, vendors, and Bigfoot-themed entertainment all around the finish area, so you cross the line into an actual street fair rather than a quiet parking lot.
Packet pickup for the half is the evening before at a local outdoor shop, with a second window on race morning at the events complex. The course sits at high altitude, so if you are coming from lower elevation, give yourself a day to settle in. The race is cupless, so bring something to drink from or pick one up at check-in.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Bigfoot Half Marathon has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
