About the Centerstone's 25th Annual Life;Story 5K/10K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention
This is a suicide prevention run and walk in Sarasota, organized by Centerstone, a mental health and addiction services organization. The name carries meaning: the semicolon in Life;Story stands for a pause rather than an ending. Dogs on leashes and strollers are welcome, and there are kids' races alongside the main event.
Mental health resource booths and community vendors are set up at the event, so there is more to the morning than just the run. Those who cannot make it in person can take part remotely. First responders and military veterans can find a discount code through the organizer's registration page.
