About the CATCH A CURE FAMILY 5K WALK/RUN
The race is held in memory of local community members and recognizes current honorees by name, which gives the morning a specific weight that most 5Ks do not carry. It runs through Rockaway Park, a peninsula neighborhood where the ocean is never far from view.
After the race, the post-run gathering moves to the Wharf, so there is a clear spot to regroup and spend time with the people you just ran alongside. Pre-registration is available in person at the Belle Harbor Yacht Club the week before the race.
