About the Carmel Marathon Weekend
The course starts and finishes near the Palladium Music Center, where a main boulevard runs through Carmel's city center. All distances share that same start and finish, which makes it easy for people running different races to meet up afterward. The terrain is road, and the course is known for being flat and quick, with Boston qualifying times well within reach for runners who are ready.
Parking near the start is free, and the finish area has pancakes from a local vendor and a beer garden. The shared start and finish line also means spectators can watch the beginning and still be back in position when their runner comes in.

The Carmel Marathon Weekend has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
