About the Día de los Muertos 5K Fun Run/Walk
This race is held on the Michigan State University campus and themed around Día de Los Muertos, a remembrance of loved ones. The event is put on by a pair of student international engagement programs, and proceeds go toward their service-learning work. The course is a short run and walk, keeping things open to most anyone who wants to show up.
The start area is a courtyard on the MSU campus, so parking and navigation are fairly straightforward if you know the grounds. Students are asked to bring their ID for check-in. People who cannot attend in person can participate remotely, with race materials mailed out afterward.
