About the Camp Classic Trail Run 5K, 10K & 1K Fun Run

The course runs through Camp El Tesoro, a working camp outside Granbury, and the terrain shifts as you go: wooded sections give way to open prairie, then drop down to creek-side paths. It is genuine trail running, not a groomed path, and the landscape changes enough that the route never feels repetitive.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the camp's Welcome Center, with race-morning pickup available from early on. After the race, an awards ceremony is held at the Main Lodge on site. Archery is set up during race hours, open to both spectators and runners who finish early.
