The course runs through Point Mallard Park, a waterpark and recreation area. The terrain is flat parkland, and the route is straightforward enough that most people run it without much navigation stress. The race supports local firefighters, police, EMS crews, and dispatchers, and that purpose gives the morning a specific weight.
Packet pickup the evening before is at Cross Eyed Owl Brewery, which makes for a convenient stop if you are already in the area. Race-morning pickup opens early at Point Mallard, giving you a window to sort gear before the start.
