About the Brookline Turkey Fun Run & Walk
The course follows a former rail bed out and back, so the route is straight and mostly flat with a surface that mixes asphalt and hard-packed crushed gravel. There are no road crossings, and the whole thing runs on private property, which keeps traffic out of the picture entirely. Proceeds go to the local Conservation Commission.
Parking is right at the start and finish line, so there is no shuttle or long walk to worry about before you run. The lot opens early, well before the race gets going.
