About the 31st Annual Boston Prep 16-Miler and 5-Miler
Both distances roll through the quiet rural roads outside Derry, starting and finishing at a middle school. The terrain is gently hilly throughout, making it a natural fit for anyone building toward a spring marathon, though the shorter option covers enough of the same ground to feel like its own race rather than an afterthought.
After finishing, runners head to a local brewery for a post-race party with a free beer. Post-race food is also on hand at the finish area, so there is no reason to rush off.
