About the Mill Cities Relay/Winner's Circle Running Club
This is a relay race that crosses two states along a river corridor, with legs of varying length spread across the full course. Teams are assigned rather than self-selected, so you show up knowing your leg and your teammates. It runs from Nashua down to Lawrence, and the route mixes road running through the mill city landscape that gives the race its name.
The race starts outside a brew and grill on Court Street. Packet pickup is a party of its own the week before, held at a skybox venue. The finish is at an Italian restaurant, where the post-race spread includes soup, pasta, bread, salad, and a pot of beans that has its own following. Awards and music follow.
