The course starts at a street corner and heads out along South Monroe Street, passing through a greenway trail before turning back the same way. The trail section gives it a slightly different feel underfoot than a typical road race, somewhere between pavement and path.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at the Ruston Police Department. On race morning, registration opens early at the race site, well before the start, so last-minute entries are possible.
