About the Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon - Sarasota
The course is a one-mile loop repeated until you hit the full or half distance. The organizers have heard that complaint enough to plan against it: music and entertainment are posted along the loop to break up the repetition. Timing clocks at the mile mark let you check your pace on every pass. The full is USATF certified as a Boston qualifier.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race, and the organizers strongly encourage showing up then, since they cannot get to the race location until early morning on race day. Early pickup keeps the morning check-in from getting backed up before the start.
