About the Boston or Bust Marathon
The course runs along a creek greenway next to the Tennessee River in South Huntsville, starting and finishing at a marina. It is certified and designed to be fast, with very little elevation change, which is the whole point: this race sits near the end of the last window to qualify for Boston, and runners here are almost always chasing a time.
Packet pickup happens over the two days before the race at a local running store on Memorial Parkway, with a race-morning option available if you need it, though the organizers push hard for the earlier pickup. Post-race, the marina pavilion hosts food, drinks, and music.
