About the Boo Brew Glow Run 4 Mile

The race runs after dark through Kreager Park, so bring a headlamp or a handheld light. It is a costume event, and there are prizes for different costume categories, which tends to draw some genuinely committed outfits. The park setting keeps things quiet underfoot, and running in the dark with other glowing, costumed people has its own strange atmosphere.

After finishing, the party moves to the Kekionga Craft Company, the race sponsor, where each runner gets a credit to spend. It is a natural endpoint for a costume run, and the brewery setting fits the night better than a parking lot would.
