The course runs out and back along a hike and bike trail starting near Liberty Park, then briefly onto a sidewalk to a marked turnaround point on a bridge. The terrain is paved throughout, and the route is simple enough that you always know where you are going. Participants can run as humans trying to finish or as zombies chasing them down.
