About the Bigfoot Classic - Corpus Christi
The Bigfoot Classic runs through Texas parks and woodlands, so the surroundings feel more natural than most road races in the area. The course has a Bigfoot theme woven through the whole morning, with a character in costume on site for photos and a DJ keeping the start area loud. Several distance options mean runners at very different fitness levels show up.
After you finish, there is a rally tent with snacks and drinks. The costume contest runs alongside the race, with the crowd voting for the winner, so the finish area stays lively well after the lead runners are done. Each runner gets announced by name over the PA, and awards are handed out in person.
