About the Big Waves Family 5K run/walk

This is a casual family-oriented 5K in Westminster with an out-and-back section on a path narrow enough that the organizers ask strollers to hang toward the back. The course changed from previous years, so if you ran it before, expect something a little different underfoot.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a local running store. Dogs are asked to stay home, partly because the path gets tight on the out-and-back stretch and partly because kids are a big part of the crowd.
